On Sunday, April 19th at 2 p.m.
the Dorchester Historical Society presents a lecture by John Goff, preservation architect, on Roger Clap's legacy.
Roger Clap was one of the first settlers in Dorchester, arriving on the Mary & John in May 1630.
Roger is important to historians because he is one of very few early settlers to leave written memories of the period, and April marks the 400th anniversary of his birth. The talk will be held at the William Clapp House, 195 Boston Street, Dorchester MA 02125. www.dorchesterhistoricalsociety.org
