It was a splendid day, sunny, and lots of spectators lining the route. when I read not-so-positive comments online I wish I could somehow share the extraordinary feeling of community one feels at this event. I sure wouldn't trade the 'gritty' edge of my neighborhood for the boring & bland Boston suburbs.
People who really want to learn more about Dorchester, please ignore the snide comments from folks who have never lived here, and come visit. And check out our good local paper The Dorchester Reporter to find out about events and activities you are welcome to come and sample.

whew, made it...
yikes, the yard sale was a success, rain stopped on time, sold lots of stuff.
and we are about to enter The Best Month of the Year: June
the month's kickoff is Sunday June 1st, with DotBike's foray as a "float" in the Dorchester Day parade, starting in Lower Mills at 1 pm sharp.
man, do we hope it does not rain...
when sunny & nice, this is a fun event 'for all ages' and shows the best face of Dorchester.
plus we party.
